Tunesmith Music is located in Fern Creek, Kentucky, just south of Louisville. It is owned and operated by noted composer, arranger, and performer A. Douglas Biggs DMA. Tunesmith has been providing award-winning music preparation, editing, enhancement and consulting services for more than 25 years.

Our experience is deep and wide, with noteworthy expertise in the music processing platforms Finale and Sibelius. In recent years we have been involved in quite a few exciting projects: Kareem Roustom’s Violin Concerto #2 for Daniel Barenboim and the Berlin Philharmonic, Autumn Lute-Song and Piccolo Concerto by Su Lian Tan both of which also involved Tunesmith created piano arrangements that are featured on a soon to be released recording! Tunesmith has recently completed A Requiem for George Floyd for composer Henry Mollicone as well as numerous choral and chamber works from large to small. We provide the preparation for well-known composer Gwyneth Walker and the musical figures for the ACDA Choral Journal. A new and exciting development in recent years has been our involvement in the preparation of video game scores for recording and demo.

We take great pride in our attention to detail while applying our knowledge and experience to every client’s work, both large and small. Everyone’s music is precious and deserves to be treated with the utmost care and respect!

Tunesmith continues to provide service in the wide array of musical areas: traditional performance score and parts, video game scores, new arrangements of old, orchestration, and original commissions. Not to mention, distilling notated scores from sound files, recovering old or corrupted files, converting PDF files into fresh and new notation files are all in a day’s work!
